The photo must clearly show the facial features from the tip of the chin to the hairline, as well as the left and right sides of the face. The face must be no smaller than 32 mm (1 ¼ inches) and no larger than 36 mm (1 3/8 inches). The face must be centered in the photo. Please look straight into the camera with a neutral expression and your mouth closed. Smiling is not permitted.

The face must be sharp, high-contrast, and clear. Reflections or shadows on the face or in the background, as well as red eyes, must be avoided. The background must be a solid, light color that contrasts with the face and hair (ideally neutral gray). Reflections on eyeglasses, tinted lenses, or sunglasses are not permitted. Eyeglass frames must not obscure the eyes.

The photo should be printed on high-quality paper with a resolution of at least 600 dpi. The photo must be color-neutral and depict skin tones naturally. The photo must be free of creases or blemishes.
